European Transplant & Dialysis Sports Championships

2-9 August 2020, Dublin, Ireland

We’ll have a full team of volunteers supporting the event – you could be one of them!

Support the event by sponsoring us! We have a range of packages and opportunities available.

Who Takes Part?

Over 500 participants from across Europe will be travelling to Ireland. Every single athlete will have had a transplant – heart, lung, kidney, liver, pancreas or bone marrow – or be receiving dialysis for kidney failure. Transplant Sport brings everyone together in celebration of a second chance at life, and gives dialysis patients motivation to be as healthy as they can be.

Doing it again… A decade later!

It’s not the first time the Irish Kidney Association has hosted the European Transplant & Dialysis Championships in Dublin. The event was here for the first time in 2010 – and we can’t wait to do it all again!

The Big Message

Why are we bringing ETDSC 2020 to Dublin? For over 40 years the Irish Kidney Association has promoted the importance of Organ Donation in Ireland. The simple fact is, Organ Donation saves lives. And we can prove it – the Championships show the life-changing results of receiving an Organ Transplant. The spirit and endurance of the athletes who take part in Transplant Sports is truly inspirational, and we are thrilled to have the chance to bring it back to the Emerald Isle.
